It was an ok read. If you have no grappling experience or at least no submission grappling experience, you may find it useful.
I love MMA! Martial arts are awesome. After being a UFC fan for sometime I wanted to try some MMA training myself. I looked and found this guide. Good intro to the subject. This book describes many useful moves to beginning in mma
There is emphasis on the fundamental skills that you will need in attacking and in defending yourself in the everyday life of needed by the professional fighter in the ring. Not so many skills have been explained in this book but I noticed that the few this talked about have been fully explained for any beginner to start off on a good ground. Most Importantly the book takes from the first day of a beginner where you involve in jogging, foot-works, systematic training levels like the jabs, hook or uppercuts.
If you find your present exercise regimen is getting a bit redundant, this fine book is quite loaded with a variety of exercises that will break the monotony. Most of these exercises and drills can be performed just about anywhere, besides the gym, using a minimum of equipment, or no equipment at all. Great book
